Egg-cellent Activities {and FREEBIES!!}

Holy Guacamole
Holy Jalapeno!
(That was in my best Spanish accent- Skippyjon style! :)

Welcome to all my new followers!  I am so thrilled that the 600 follower giveaway has been such a success so far!
(guess I need to call it my 600 and 700 follower giveaway!! :)

If you haven't entered yet, click the link above or the image at the end of this post.

So I wanted to share a newly re-vamped product- just in the nick of time for the end of the year.  You kids will L.O.V.E this- I promise you!!  :)
All you need are some plastic eggs- they are on sale like everywhere right now!  Oh, and a container to hold the eggs!  Oh, and this product:

This little set is fun to do in the Spring during "egg" season, however, I leave this out ALL YEAR!  I actually have another set of activities (in a pack I'll mention later) and I just swap out the activities in the eggs mid-year.

So what is it you ask??
Well, they are fun, completely independent activities the kids in my classroom work on when they finish their work and need something to do.  This would also make a GREAT center!!
 I put the activity cards (like task cards) in the plastic eggs.  The kids get the biggest kick out of "crackin" open the eggs to see what they will be working on!!
 Here's a pic of it looks like (except the revamped pack has two container titles
{Eggy Activity}
{Brainy Activities}
depending on when you want to do them :)

The activities inside the eggs have a mix of math, reading, and writing.  They are easy enough for the kids to do independently which was important to me as I did not want to explain how to do the activities to the kids who were done with their work.  I'd say they are appropriate for end of the year first graders up to beginning of the year third (most appropriate for second).  Here is a look at some of the activities (there are 28 of them):

Or if you want to leave it out all year and don't want it to be all eggy:

This is some serious fun in my classroom!  The kids "crack" up at the activities. hehe :)

If you love it and want to do MORE... there will be a Set 2 posted on TpT in a day or so (if the little one naps!!)
I'm not sure if I will bundle them or not... what do you think?  Would you want both sets together??

I leave you with spring stuff (one I posted before but wanted to re-post in case some missed it!)

I'm also workin' on a spring pack of sorts... I'll let you know when it is ready!!
