It's Friday again... wait what?  IT'S FRIDAY AGAIN??  Yikes! I need to s l o w the summer down!

3.  Knock Knock!
Look who ended up at my back door...
Yes, he is as big as he looks!!  I was told he was an alligator snapping turtle!  We live about 20 feet from a creek and he must live back there somewhere.  Why he landed on my doormat?... beats me!!
Here he is walking away... it's pretty cool!

5. Product!!
So just a few days ago I finished my First Grade version of my Math Vocabulary Pack!  It is completely aligned to common core and grouped by standard.  Take a peek:

  4. My mom had a turtle that size show up in her backyard. She sent me pictures and videos. He looked like a monster!

    I would love the 3rd grade pack! Just this week I went to an ELL institute and in every session they stressed the importance of teaching/front-loading vocabulary. This would be the PERFECT jumping off point for me! Plus, I'm going with a brights and polka dot scheme in my classroom next year! :)

  14. I would love the third grade one! I teach middle school special ed so I normally am working few grade levels below with some students.

    I can't believe that turtle! We only have birds and rabbits in our neighborhood, well along with mosquitos.
