I'm getting SMART!

My brain is officially on overload!  I have been in a SMART Board class the past two days and I have been in heaven!  Creating, playing, manipulating, and jazzing up a lesson is right up my alley!  I can't even tell you all the amazing things I've learned in just two days... and I have 3 more days to go!!  I did not even realize how easy it was to create a link to a Internet site or YouTube.  Or the amazing things you can do with a magnifying glass or a flashlight image!  I learned how to create a lesson today using a "magic tunnel" where you can slide words from one side and it will change into something new on the other side (i.e. change boy to boys).  Cool huh?  Is there anyone out there looking to learn some SMART tricks?  Is there anything you want to know?  I'd be happy to share!!  Please leave a comment below if you either have a SMART Board, want to learn some new tricks, or have a question.  I want to make you SMART too!!  :)

I have made a few cool things that I will try and share with you... anyone know how to share a notebook file?

So look who was caught NOT reading...

Remember you can {LINK UP} at any time! :)

  1. You can upload files to Smart Exchange and TpT. If you upload to Smart Exchange, they are free to anyone to download. I've had a smartboard for a few years and love it! My students will do anything to get to come up to the board. In fact, they love it so much, I use it as a privilege and the students have to earn a turn by paying attention to the lesson. They are so much more focused during lessons than when I don't use the smartboard!

  2. My students LOVE the Magic Tunnel! Anytime I open up a Smart Notebook file, they ask if there is going to be a Magic Tunnel. Then one day one of my students figured out how it works....in second grade! I couldn't believe it because I made it and barley understand how it works! :)
