WINNERS and Math Vocabulary

Happy weekend everyone!  I am sorry for my lack of posting yet again  :(  but I am happy to officially announce the winners of my 5 day 500 follower giveaway!!

I had some MAJOR technical difficulties around day 3-5 (curse you rafflecopter!) so the bonus age question didn't show up for everyone- sorry.  Out of those that did answer - there were no correct guesses even though it was a WIDE range from
32-39 hehe ;)  I guess I'll just keep you guessing on that one :)

Thanks so much for joining the fun and congrats to all the winners!!

I now have our math vocabulary wall up! I just love how the words turned out and the kids are having fun reading the words and using them in their math language talk!

I made little vocabulary books for the students and we are slowly adding some new words to the books.  They look like this:

I was not prepared for the reaction I got after passing these out and working in them on the first day.  One of my students gave the "book" a hug and said "I LOVE this thing!" :)  Another student came up to me the next day (after working in it) she had a sad face and said, "Mrs. R. we didn't do our Math Vocabulary today."  I said, "well we don't do it every day.  You really liked that didn't you?" and she said, "Yes" with a gigantic smile.  She was SO disappointed that we didn't do vocabulary... how precious is that!?!

I have this in my TpT store if you want to take a look...

We have been doing mysteries this past week and will be this coming week too...it has been a lot of fun :)  I will share in the next few days.  I'm also working on some new posts for new bloggers- that is coming soon! :)

Have a great Saturday!

ps... make sure you like my facebook page!!
