Black History Month and a share! :)

Hey Everyone!  Why is it that the short weeks are always the ones that feel the longest??
Friday we have a teacher work day- and it is just as it sounds-- we get to work on whatever we want (with NO kids!).  It is a magical day!!  I always have a list a mile long and accomplish about a 1/4 of the list, but to have the time at all is great! :)

I first wanted to share a new product...

This is a completely revamped product (If you purchased the other version I had of this please email me so I can send you this updated version).  I seriously can't wait to use this!!  There are 17 PowerPoint slides of famous black Americans.  On each slide there are critical thinking questions and links to learn more (or a link to a video).  There are even teacher notes to help you!

After viewing the PowerPoint, there are several writing sheets to choose from to assess your students' understanding.  AND there is a QUIZ!!  (this would be a great social studies grade!)
Finally, there is a fun, simple, quick, yet powerful project idea for your students!  This has it all-- and it is READY TO GO!! (love that!)  It's 35 pages total!

Please let me know if you have any questions!  If you want to read more about it or snatch it up click {HERE}

***AND it will be ON SALE until Midnight tonight so you might want to grab it today!!

So I leave you with a little video :)
This is my husband-- some of you may remember me mentioning that he is an ice sculptor.  The local paper came and did a story on him and created what they call a "moving picture."  I share this with you for two reasons... first.. I thought it turned out nice and thought my blog "family" might enjoy seeing it.  And two... how cool would this type of thing be to make with your students??  A moving picture??  How fun??

Anyway... thanks so much for stopping by!
Tori
